This was my Wednesday, told in film clips:
Woke up, got in the shower. Had my hair full of shampoo when the water... just... stopped. Had to rinse with spring water from the fridge. That's right. $5 worth of 37 degree spring water. Bracing
. Not! This was me when the well guy showed up.
Then! Had to go to the DMV, only to sit for two hours while the staff had lunch in front of about forty people who were waiting to get their licenses renewed. This was me when they finally began calling people to the counter.
Topped off the day by picking up my boys at football practice. The younger one steps up to the car, pulls open the sliding door behind the driver's seat, and then watches in horror and IT FALLS RIGHT OFF THE SIDE OF THE CAR AND LANDS IN THE GRASS. In a thunderstorm. Yes, a thunderstorm. This was me as they both began laughing hysterically (and I kind of had to join in).
The boys got the car back in one piece, and I went home and shook off my ridiculous day with some veggie pizza and the new Star Trek movie. That guy I married let me replay the scene at the end about ten times--you know, when Spock and Kirk reveal their true feelings for each other--and then swiped the remote and took me to bed. This was me on the way up the stairs:
I really hope Thursday goes better. ;-p (Except for the last part. Wouldn't mind repeating that.)
